Arrive in Bagdogra and transfer to the border town of Phuentsholing after completing formalities

Phuentsholing to Punakha
Stay: Wangdue Eco Lodge or Similar
Drive over DochuLa to the erstwhile capital of Bhutan

3
Punakha - Bumthang
Stay: The Mountain Lodge or similar
Drive to Bumthang valley via Trongsa district. In the evening enjoy hot stone baths

Bumthang
Stay: The Mountain Lodge or similar
Spent today exploring Tang Valley - enjoy archery, visit a swiss cheese factory, local brewery and the Ogyen Choling Palace

5
Bumthang - Phobjika
Stay: Phobjika hotel or similar
Experience Rural Bhutan - Quaint, Mystic, Clean & Happy. Enjoy an outdoor bonfire and dinner under the stars

Phobjika
Stay: Phobjika hotel or similar
Start the day with a short hike in the beautiful meadows leading you to the Gangtey Monastery & then enjoy a picnic lunch

Phobjika to Paro
Stay: Tashi Namgay or similar
Arrive at Paro and enroute enjoy a meal at a cafe in Thimpu. In the evening be prepared for a traditional cultural night

Tiger's Nest

Hike tiger's nest and be in awe of the views. In the evening we head into town for a fun night!

Paro to Siliguri
Stay: Marriott Siliguri or similar
Today, we start our drive back to Siliguri from Paro and say goodbye to Bhutan!

Bharat has lead expeditions across India, Central Asia, South East Asia and Europe among other places and lead an overland trip all the way from New Delhi to Siem Reap in 2019.
